Rabat is 90km north of Casablanca by road — about one hour by private vehicle via the A1 motorway or 45 minutes by train. This proximity makes Rabat the easiest and most rewarding day trip from Casablanca: Morocco’s administrative capital has four UNESCO-listed sites within walking distance of each other, and the Atlantic waterfront setting is entirely different from Casablanca’s urban centre.
