Overview

We organize guided desert tours from Agadir to M'hamid, as well as Erg Chigaga dunes. We visit Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, and the Sahara dunes. This three-day, two-night excursion from Agadir to Erg Chigaga Desert includes opportunities to explore the Erg Chigaga dunes, ride camels across sand dunes, and much more.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Agadir - Taroudante - Taliouine - Foum Zguid - Erg Chegaga

Explore the Sahara on a tour from Agadir with Local Morocco Tours, your personal desert tour company. Following hotel pickup, we proceed to Taroudant, well known as "Little Marrakech." Take in the vibrant hues of the spice and clothing markets. We may go to a women's cooperative. Following that, we will travel to Taliouine, the heart of the saffron Presidium, to sample tea with safran. Then we proceed to Foum Zguid. We'll make our way to the massive sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. You will enjoy a spectacular sunset, a camel ride, and spend the night in nomad tents under a thousand stars in a berber bivouac in the middle of the Sahra desert.

Day 2

Erg Chigaga - Iriqui Lake - Taroudante - Ouarzazate

After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast the next day, we embark with 4x4 vehicles toward Foum Zguid, but this time across the dry Lake Iriqui. We continue to Ouarzazate after exploring what the Foum Zguid region has to offer. Overnight stay in a hotel, including dinner.

Day 3

Ouarzazate - Marrakech - Agadir

Today, our three-day journey from Agadir to the Chigaga Desert continues as we travel via the High Atlas Mountains to Ait Benhaddou before arriving in Marrakech. We will transfer you to Agadir after the guided excursion. Local Morocco Tours will be glad to serve you, your family, friends, or group with a faultless Chigaga Sahara Desert trip.
