Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech Ouarzazate Zagora Camel ride and night in a Desert camp

Explore the Sahara on a Tour From Marrakech with Local Morocco Tours: your own desert tour business. To get to Ouarzazate, we will travel through Berber towns and take in views of the Atlas Mountains while passing over the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka road pass at an elevation of 2,260 meters. Before continuing on to Zagora, we make a stop at the Taourirt Kasbah. Local Morocco Tours are able to assist you in the preparation of your vacation to Morocco. The Draa Valley is the largest palmtree valley in the Kingdom of Morocco, and we go through it on our way here. We go via Agdz on our way to Zagora, where you will have the opportunity to see the sun set over the desert, ride a camel for an hour to reach a desert camp or bivouac for dinner, and then listen to Berber music after dinner. You get to pick the desert camp that you will stay in for the night.

Day 2

Zagora Camel Ride Draa Valley Marrakech

After watching the sun rise over the desert today, we will make our way back to Zagora (where you will also get the opportunity to ride camels), and then after breakfast, we will continue on to Ouarzazate and the Atlas Mountains. The Sahara desert is a destination that is offered on many of the local Morocco tours. We take a trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site known as Ait Benhaddou Kasabh. After taking a tour of the area with a neighborhood guide, we drove over the Tichka road pass. We will drive you to Marrakech and drop you off at your place of lodging when we get there.
