Overview

We provide a private tour from Marrakech that includes transportation in comfortable vehicles and a two-day excursion from Marrakech to Ouarzazate with an English-speaking local guide or driver. We start our tour by traveling across the Tizi n'Tichka pass located in the High Atlas Mountains — the highest point of our journey.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate

Local Morocco Tours is your own private tour company for day tours departing from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Following breakfast, we begin our journey to the Atlas Mountains and make our way to Ait Benhaddou. We go via the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, and then we visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site kasbah that has been featured in some of the best Hollywood movies, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Following the completion of the guided adventure, you will have the afternoon at your own leisure. After that, we'll transport you to Ouarzazate. Spend the night at a hotel or riad that is located nearby.

Day 2

Ouarzazate → Marrakech

The highlights of Ouarzazate are our focus for the day, and they include a trip to the Taourirt Kasbahs in the city as well as a stop at a film studio. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to take part in additional activities such as driving a quad. After that, we leave and make our way via the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
