Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Chefchaouen Ouazane Fes

In a private Morocco tour departing from Chefchaouen, you will discover the top destinations. Today we head to Fes, where you can see the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then we will visit Moulay Idriss, a sacred city, before continuing to Fes, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in a nearby hotel.

Day 2

Excursion in Fes city

Today you will take a guided tour of Fes's medina with a native guide. You go to the famed Souks and historical sites such as Al Qaraouine University and tanneries. Overnight at a hotel or riad.

Day 3

Fes Ifrane Midelt Merzouga Desert

Local Morocco Tours will take you to the best Chefchaouen. We will travel from Fes to Ifrane and Midelt, and then you will see Errachidia and Erfoud. After arriving in Merzouga, we prepare for a camel trek to a Berber camp in the heart of the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. We go on a 90minute camel journey. We gather around the campfire after dinner to listen to traditional Berber drums.

Day 4

Merzouga Desert Todra Dades Gorges

We will wake up early today to enjoy the Sahara sunrise, then ride camels and drive to Rissani and Tinghir after breakfast. We tour the magnificent Todra Canyons, while you experience Morocco's narrowest gorges. We'll drive to the Dades Valley after lunch and spend the night in a local hotel or kasbah.

Day 5

Dades Gorges Skoura Marrakech

After breakfast, we will explore the Dades Valley before heading to Kalaa M'gouna through the Route of Thousand Kasbahs, where we will see Skoura and the Atlas Studio of Ouarzazate. Then we proceed to Ait Benhaddou, where you will explore the Unesco Kasbah, Morocco's largest Kasbah. After lunch, we will drive you via the High Atlas highlands and Berber villages to the city of Marrakech, where the tour will conclude.
