Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Fes to Merzouga via Midelt and Erfoud

After riad/hotel pick up we drive towards Ifrane and explore the cedar forest in Azrou with Barbary apes. We continue to Midelt and the Ziz Valley, then explore Erfoud fossils. Then we continue to the Sahara desert and prepare for a camel ride near Merzouga. We experience the Sahara sunset from the top of a dune. Enjoy dinner and Berber music; you'll spend a night under a comfortable camp.

Day 2

Merzouga - Todra - Dades Gorges

Today after an early wake up we watch the desert sunrise, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for breakfast. Then we drive to Rissani, explore Erfoud and continue to the Todra Valley where we explore the amazing Gorges. You will spend the night in the Dades valley in a local kasbah with dinner.

Day 3

Dades - Skoura - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

After breakfast we explore Dades Gorges, then drive to the Rose valley and Skoura. We explore the best of Ouarzazate: the Taourirt kasbah and film studios. Then we explore Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco. We continue through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, driving through Berber villages towards Marrakech, and drop you off at your hotel.
