Day 1
Chefchaouen Fes
In a private Morocco tour departing from Chefchaouen, you will discover the top destinations. Our vehicle will pick you up from the airport, and our local guide will take you on a short private tour of Chefchaouen. Then we explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, as well as Moulay Idriss, Morocco's holiest site. Then we go to the greatest of Meknes, including its medina. You will see the Moulay Ismail Mosque before being transferred to Fes. This is a 7day journey from Chefchaouen organized by Local Morocco Tours.
Day 2
Excursion in Fes
Today we will explore the greatest of Fes, the oldest Imperial City. You will see the highlights of the medina, such as the Karaouiyne Mosque and the Nejjarine Fountain. Following your exploration of the greatest sites We spend the night in Fes at your hotel.
Day 3
Fes Ifrane Midelt Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we will continue our 12 day Grand Tour from Chefchaouen to Ifrane, then to Azrou cedar forest, and then to Midelt and Errachidia across the High Atlas Mountains. We visit Erfoud and the Merzouga desert. We ride camels to Berber tents for dinner, and after viewing the sunset, we listen to Berber music and spend the night under a desert tent.
Day 4
Merzouga Desert Todra Dades
We wake up early today to enjoy the Sahara sunrise, then ride camels and continue to Rissani and Erfoud, where you can examine ancient marbles. Then we go to Todra Gorges to explore the rock canyon. After lunch, we drive to Dades Gorges, where you will spend the night in a kasbah or hotel with dinner.
Day 5
Dades Gorges Skoura Ouarzazate
After breakfast, our 7day Grand Tour from Chefchaouen continues to Skoura, where we explore the palm grove and then visit the Kasbah of Amridil before continuing to Ouarzazate, where we visit the film studios and the kasbah. Dinner and overnight in a kasbah or hotel.
Day 6
Ouarzazate Ait Benhaddou Marrakech
Today we explore Ait Benhaddou, a "fortified city" and UNESCO World Heritage site where numerous films, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, were made. Then we continue on to Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains. Stayed in a hotel the night before.
Day 7
Marrakech Excursion Transfer to Airport
